if u r getting more than 200 marks in total…then be sure that u r going to be qualify in prelims
sir ji actually i was asking u about wether i am going to clear my u.p. p.c.s. not u.p.s.c. with 230 marks are u sure sir that marks above 200 will be enough to clarify u.p. p.c.s.
I am getting 75 in paper 1 and 99 in paper 2 after reducing negative marks.. (TOTAL MARKS IS 174)

Ramya, d prev. yr cutoff was 166 for sc. And dis yr it may b 172 then assess yrself
Am getting 36 in paper 1 n 158 in paper 2… got to know that thr is no sectional cutoff.. wot is your opinion???

Ahmad is sal cut off hoga- gen-205, obc-190, sc-176,st-170
last years cut off according to an rti filed was
gen-198
obc-175
sc-165
st-161
this year friends the paper was a bit easy as compared to last years paper 1..
and the second factor is that this year the number of seats hv been increased by about 127 …so accoedingly more number of students will qualify for prelims about 1500 to 1700..
so finally in my view the cut will olmost remain same as that of last year..

UPSC mains exams qualifying marks gen.category me kya hoga?
This time d gen cutoff will be not less than 204 it will app. 208
hy frndz if u r in gen cast then u would get minimum 900 marks in mains written nd 180 in interview.
